We traveled with bus northeast from Gaziantep to the border of Iran at the northenmost corner of the country. There were changed bus and drove south till Shiraz with stops, totally around 3100 km . Almost all the time we were on the Anatolian plateau. The elevation is from 900-1800 meters above sealevel. A typical feature is that are no trees but lots and lots of boulders and stones. Some of the pictures are taken through the windows on the bus and that shows unfortunately.
