On the way to Puyo we stopped at a waterfall on the other side of the valley. It was a cableway over the valley and we had to assume it was safe. The carriage was nice and red, but I am not sure it would be certified in Norway.
It was driven by a diesel engine.
The technic was that the operator let the gravity take the carriage “downhill”. When we reached the lowest point, he waited a little to give us photo-opportunities. Then he shalted in the motor an pulled us “uphill”. That is he needed three tries to reach the end station when I was in th carriage.
View from the carriage.
