On the road to Tbilisi.

We stopped twice between the border and Tbilisi. The first was at the churches where St. Nino is buried. Sne was the woman who came from Cappadocia around 300AD and christened Georgia. The first of many churches.

The second stop was at the city of Signagi. We should walk up to the castle, but it was raining so a couple of us had a beer in a cafe. The city itself was not very interesting but it had a couple of statues.

Thid is the founder of the Georgian opera.

The landscape was very nice.
