We visited one village in the middle of nowhere. They had water and I assume that is why people settled there. How clean the water was I don’t know, it did not look appetizing. Most of the men worked at the oilfields and we saw very few people. They had gradually moved from primitive houses to more advanced.
We drove on a high plateau and at one point we looked down on another village next to water.
I wonder where the closest medical doctor, hospital, dentist or grocery store were. I felt enormously privaliged to be Norwegian!
